Trawled the net to find accommodation for a family of 6 and this was our final choice. Visited to participate in the Blackpool marathon, room spacious and very clean with separate room 4 kids fantastic. Will recommend to large families. Friendly and attentive staff thank you for a pleasant stay .
Sunrise Avenue Hotel Blackpool Had a lovely time here. Very clean hotel owners take oride in this hotel. Food for breakfast is plentyful although now i believe they don't do breakfast, shame because it was lovely. Owners very polite n helpful. Been here twice and both times was lovely.
Sunrise is clean, warm and comfortable accommodation at a good price. We took the breakfast option which I really recommend. The cereal and teas and coffee are self service and you can order a delicious cooked breakfast. The breakfast is served at another premises just along the road which is only a 1 minute walk if that, which we didn't mind. Laura the manager meets you to check you in and lets you know where she can be found if you have any issues or need anything. She is very pleasant as is everyone at their other premises where breakfast is served. The location is great just around the corner from the pleasure beach and almost opposite the South Pier. This property is accessed via stairs and rooms are upstairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems but fine for families (our youngest is 2 and managed the stairs fine and we were in a loft room). There are no hen or stag parties allowed here so the property is fairly quiet which is what we wanted. Parking, as is the same in all of Blackpool, can be an issue but John the owner went above and beyond to help us out and secure a space. I would definitely return here. Thank you for a lovely stay.
